Local Celebrities Carson and Frankie open 'Wilson Bridge'!
Thursday 12th October saw the opening of the new 'Wilson Bridge', replacing the old Copley bridge, which collapsed during the December 2015 floods. All of key stage 2 attended as the Mayor and other Council dignitaries made short speeches before declaring the bridge open. Following this, our school councillors were interviewed in front of the cameras for BBC Look North, with year sixes Carson and Frankie having their interviews televised on the evening news.
Thanks to Mr Keat for use of the photographs.
Very early on Thursday Morning (25th May), Mr Kaye unleashed his amazing drone into the skies to take some photographs of our little school. Aren't the results fantastic!?
